30th Birthday Competition T&C's
1. The competition is a free prize draw and is organised by STA Travel Ltd of 6 Wrights Lane, London W8 6TA ("STA Travel")
2. By entering the competition entrants agree that they have read and fully understood these terms and be bound by them. If you disagree with any of these terms and conditions then you may not enter this competition.
3. This competition is only open to residents of the UK, Channel Islands and the Isle of Man, aged 18 or over. Excluding employees of STA Travel, their families and anyone else professionally associated with this competition.
4. One winner will receive a prize of two tickets to Ministry of Sound Live at the London O2 Arena on 31st December 2009, plus a £50 off STA Travel voucher.
5. Two runners up will receive one Ministry of Sound goodie bag, plus a £50 off STA Travel voucher. The goodie bag will contain:
a. Ministry of Sound New Years Eve compilation CD
b. Limited edition Ministry of Sound t-shirt
c. Free entry to Ministry of Sound for life
d. Exclusive Ministry of Sound bag
6. Twenty seven (27) runners up a prize of one £50 STA Travel voucher.
7. STA Travel voucher terms and conditions:
a. The voucher will be posted to all confirmed winners after the prize draw has taken place.
b. The £50 off voucher discount applies to bookings you make in branch at STA Travel before 31st December 2010.
c. Voucher cannot be redeemed against pre-existing bookings or taxes or fees.
d. The voucher can only be redeemed once.
e. Usual booking terms and conditions apply and all bookings are subject to availability.
f. All taxes, fees, charges, and surcharges are applicable to reservations made using the voucher. These charges must be paid at the time of the reservation and are the responsibility of the customer.
g. Voucher has no commercial value and cannot be redeemed for cash. Voucher cannot be redeemed online.
h. Total booking must equal or exceed £500
8. The competition closes at 23:59 on 21st December 2009.
9. The winners will be selected from the top 30 entries submitted to the STA Travel 30th Birthday site between 00:01 on the 1st December 2009 and 23:59 on the 21st December 2009. The entries will be rated by the public on the STA Travel 30th Birthday site using a star rating system and no influence can be made by any STA Travel employee to determine overall ranking.
10. No cash or other prizes alternatives are available and are strictly non transferable. The prizes are subject to availability. STA Travel reserves the right to exchange prizes for others of similar value.
11. First prize winner will be notified by email and/or by phone by the 23rd December 2009 where correct information has been supplied upon entry. If the winners cannot be contacted by STA Travel after reasonable attempts to do so within 7 days, replacement winners will be drawn - if after no contact is made after reasonable attempts to do so by the 29th December 2009 the prize will be forfeit.
12. Second prize and runners up will be notified by email and/or by phone by the 23rd December 2009 where correct information has been supplied upon entry. If the winners cannot be contacted by STA Travel after reasonable attempts to do so within 14 days, replacement winners will be drawn - if after no contact is made after reasonable attempts to do so by the 6th January 2010 the prize will be forfeit.
13. The winner’s names and prizes may be disclosed to anyone who writes within one month after the published closing date by sending a stamped addressed envelope to 30th Birthday competition, Marketing Department, STA Travel, 6 Wrights Lane, London W8 6TA.
14. STA Travel reserves the right to use the names or winners, for publicity purposes only.
15. You may enter the competition as many times as you like however where a winner has been selected and STA Travel discovers or has reasonable grounds to believe the winner has used any software or automated process either to answer questions or to make bulk entries, STA Travel may select an alternative winner. Any further winner will be selected on the same criteria as the original winner and will be subject to these terms. STA Travel reserves the right to disqualify incomplete or illegible entries. STA Travel’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
16. STA Travel shall not be liable to any entrant or winner for any financial loss arising out of the refusal, cancellation or withdrawal of this competition.
17. These terms and conditions and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them or its subject matter or formation (including non-contractual disputes or claims) shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the law of England and the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts shall prevail.
18. This Promotion is governed by the laws of England and Wales.
