Madrid

Currency: Euro (€)            Population: 3.2 Million            Price of Food: Approx £9.10 for a 3 course meal.

Famous For:
Bull jousting matadors, magnificent art museums, galactico football team, chorizo, flamenco dancers and lots of beautiful people.

Useful Info:
Check out the Museo del Jamon. It’s a wellstocked deli, but most importantly it’s a museum dedicated to ham... vegetarians should probably avoid.

Useless Info:
Unlike most major cities, Madrid came about purely because of political reasons – consequently it’s the highest capital in Europe, and it’s located in the exact centre of the country.

Local Eats:
Those with a sweet tooth have to try the Churros. Sold by street vendors – these long thick strips of deliciousness are great when dipped in hot chocolate. Hmm...
