Camp Kenya

African child
A variety of camps that are either co-located with rural communities or within threatened wildlife areas. Help out the Digo tribe, work on projects at primary schools and get involved in conservation and wildlife work on the outskirts of the famous Tsavo National Park.

Community

Expect to spend your stay working on a wide range of initiatives. You really will get out what you put in; for example at Muhaka Primary School your work may range from classroom refurbishment and building desks to teaching, playing sports and re-plantation projects. On the 2 and 3 month programmes you’ll also work at an orphanage - prepare for a challenging, humbling and rewarding experience.

Wildlife

Mwaluganje Elephant Sanctuary and Camp Tsavo are two of the most amazing locations on the planet! You’ll spend time camping and working in the sanctuary or on the outskirts of the National Park alongside local communities and of course, the elephants and other wildlife. You will play a key role in developing initiatives to reduce the human-wildlife conflict, whilst learning about conservation in Africa today. All the programmes also include an amazing camping safari, with game drives in search of the magnificent “Big 5”.
