AT AN STA TRAVEL STORE (UK ONLY)
It is possible to top up your card at any STA Travel UK store free of charge. Just pop in with your card (or give us a call with the details) and we can add your money onto your card. No fee applies and your funds will reach your eccount instantly.
BY CREDIT OR DEBIT CARD
If you have a £5,000 limit on your card, you can register a credit/debit card with us and top up your STA Travel eccount directly from this. Log in to your STA Travel eccount and click on the tab labelled ‘Top-Up’. Once you have registered your credit/debit card with us, you can use this tab in the future to top up your STA Travel eccount directly from this credit/debit card (a 3% fee applies).
You can top up at over 11,500 Post Office branches (99p fee). Simply hand your card to the cashier along with the cash you wish to top up and they will provide you with a receipt. Your money will be available to spend within 4 working days.
Top-up with cash at over 28,000 PayPoint locations nationwide displaying the PayPoint logo (3% fee). Simply hand the retailer your cash and ask them to swipe your STA Travel Cashcard. Your money will then be available to spend instantly.

The local shop or ATM is performing the currency conversion for you and giving you its own foreign exchange rate. This is called Dynamic Currency Conversion.
