Itinerary
Day 1-2
What better start than a tour of Hollywood and Beverly Hills en route to Santa Barbara, "a gem of a coastal city" with a decidedly Spanish flair. Continue up the famous Pacific Coast to San Francisco.
Day 2-4
Just enough time to fall in love with a city you will surely want to visit again and again. East to the Sierra Nevadas and the breathtaking beauty of Yosemite.
Day 5-9
Next, the perfect winter destination: Death Valley National Park. In summer, the hottest place on earth, but now a winter playground offering incredible sunsets, hiking, brilliant night skies and sightseeing opportunities from Dante's View, Zabriskie Point, Golden Canyon and the Great Sand Dunes.
Day 10
On to a playground of another sort - incomparable Las Vegas, the capital of neon, nightlife and one-armed bandits.
Day 11- 15
The Southwest's most famous National Parks, Grand Canyon and Zion, are truly majestic. Hike to Emerald Pools or down the Bright Angel Trail. Experience Native American life first-hand, staying in an authentic Navajo hogan surrounded by the spectacular beauty of their land, the Monument Valley region.
South to the Sonoran Desert, stark, but strikingly scenic. You have the option to camp with local cowboys-no luxury, but an adventure you can't arrange on your own!
Day 16
Next, on to Tucson, home of the giant Saguaro cactus groves, and the living Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum.
Day 17-20
Back into California and Joshua Tree NP, with "out of this world" rock formations amidst incredible desert vistas. San Diego not only has the best climate in America but also beautiful beaches, SeaWorld Adventure Park and a fascinating zoo. Back to LA and our included Disneyland visit complete an incredible winter adventure.
