Ticket validity cannot be extended. If you wish to travel after the last date permitted on your ticket, you will need to purchase a new ticket. Usually you will need to do this in the country from which you wish to depart. If you intend to purchase a new ticket, we suggest that you contact an STA Travel branch or our Travel Help partner in that country for assistance.

If you find yourself to be no longer in possession of your ticket, please contact the airline locally. They will advise if they permit reissue or will require you to purchase a new ticket. If they are able to reissue, they will contact the head office of the STA Travel division that issued your ticket for the details they require. The airline will usually require you to complete a document called a lost ticket indemnity form and to pay a fee.
