PARTY WITH STA TRAVEL IN SECOND LIFE
STA Travel, the youth and budget tour operator, are teaming up with Australian mobile provider, Big Pond to host a fantastic fancy dress Outback Bush Party, on Second Life, the virtual world (www.secondlife.com).
The party, which kicks off, on-line, at 1pm Second Life time (9pm UK time) on Thursday 11 October is being held at the Bigpond's Outback Sim in the shadow of Ayers Rock. With entertainment from DJ Funky Rang, and singer Takamura Keiko, making her Australian debut.
The theme of the party is Filmstars, Furries and Felons, the 3 Fs of Australia, and there are prizes for the best costume, including copies of Lonely Planet guides and travel vouchers worth £12, which can be redeemed at STA Travel shops in the UK.
STA Travel was the first travel company to open a travel centre in Second Life in April, giving advice to members on how best to explore the online world.
