Ticketing Operations Executive

Working in a team of 6 your responsibilities will include:

  • Provide support via email and telephone to all UK Branches to assist with all ticketing queries and problems
  • Issuing of all ad-hoc tickets, all ticket exchanges, published Round the Worlds, MPD’s, TOD’s and PTA’s.
  • Quality Control checking of tickets in order to minimise errors
  • Providing support to our global Ticketing team
  • Ensuring all scheduled tickets are issued within contractual deadlines

The role would suit someone who wants to move beyond a pure ticketing role and enjoys varied and challenging work – although ticketing is part of the role other responsibilities include investigation and problem solving.

The ideal applicant will have knowledge of fares and ticketing and experience in issuing all types of tickets for a number of worldwide airlines. Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, strong problem solving skills and the ability to work under pressure are key.
Proficient in a GDS is essential and a qualification in BA level 2 would be of an advantage.
