Getting around

Rome has two airports, Fiumicino and Ciampino. Only Fiumicino is connected to the centre, by direct trains leaving every hour to Termini. Hourly buses run from Ciampino to the Anagnina metro station, from where it’s a 20-minute ride into the city centre; otherwise take a bus to the Ciampino train station and then a train into Termini. Taxis from either airport take around 40 minutes, and are worth considering if you’re in a group.
