Andalusia, Spain. Its the Costa Del Sol but not as you know it. The whitewashed town of Frigilaina, said to be one of the prettiest in Spain is set in the foothills of the Almijara Sierra mountain range. Steeped in history from the Romans through to the Moors it was the only village where Christians and Moors lived in harmony. Take a walk through the narrow streets amongst Pueblo style houses gleaming in the Spanish sun and enjoy a jug of Sangria as you watch the sunset behind the stunning mountains. In nearby Nerja enjoy the panoramic views across the Mediterranean where you'll find small beach coves against a backdrop of mountains. At night the town comes alive as the streets fill up with tourists, travellers and locals all there to soak up the ambiance of the night market with its traders from nearby North Africa, and busking tango dancers twist and twirl for your delight.
