Kenya is an amazing place with vast wildlife parks, tropical beaches, coral reefs and some of the friendliest people - especially if you learn a little Swahili. Even 'Jambo' (hello) will result in wide smiles and friendly faces. Most people visit Kenya for the wildlife parks - the world famous Masai Mara National Reserve is west of Nairobi and joins the Serengeti it is incredible with vast savannah grasslands prides of lions, elephants, giraffes, hippos and the annual wildebeest migration is nothing less than spectacular. Other national parks include Amboseli National Park famous for its elephants and the view of Tanzania's Mount Kilimanjaro in the background. Tsavo West and West National Parks are also breathtaking especially as they are home to the last of the Black Rhinos. Going on safari (Swahili for journey) is something you will never forget the animals are amazing but equally so is the vast African landscape, finishing a day with a Tusker beer watching the sunset is unforgettable.
