In 2005 Ants Media Group produced a documentary series on the well travelled East Coast Trek of Australia, a popular trip for many British Gap Year explorers. The result was Gap Downunder - an action packed 13 part television series that aired in the UK, following British Backpackers on their Gap Year in Australia.
Every episode follows a different set of travellers, ranging from graduates fresh from university to young people taking a year out of life in the UK - From Bermondsey boys to Brighton girls, while Irish lads chased dingoes on Fraser Island, Cambridge graduates worked with koalas on the Gold Coast.
Here at STA TRAVEL we're proud to sponsor the series which captured not just the destinations but the different types of people of all ages and backgrounds who head Down Under for their Gap Year, and we're happy to say that it's now available on DVD and online.
