Horizon Beach Resort

Infuse yourself in a Fijian family atmosphere at this racy little resort right by Nadi Bay beach. Splash around in the beautiful pool, lounge lazily on the sundeck and wait for happy hour to start. The little bar gets quite a buzz going!

Horizon Backpackers - Nadi

It was fine as it was our last night before we left for new zealand, but i guess the negatives were having to pay for a nights accomodation after we already had prepaid through STA. Being in the middle of nowhere and Smugglers Cove hostel is right beside horizon backpackers so its a small walk to the shop, restaurant and 'good atmosphere'. Overall... not bad for a budget backpacker hostel.

If you are a lone traveller this place can be a bit lonely on quiet nights. There are always other people around, but most people are young backpackers who are part of a larger group. On the other hand, if you're just passing through fiji, its a good cheap option right on the beach. So grab your beach towel and relax there with a book.

Wouldn't really bother...

We were supposed to have a double room, instead got given a 6 bed dorm (even though we had it to ourselves - still pretty weird). Staff weren't that welcoming. Price was really quite over-the-top considering our accommodation! And breakfast consisted of white bread (toasted, if you wished) with jam & marmalade (mixed together!) with a cup of tea or coffee. Really not very impressed, especially after hearing what other travellers had stayed in and how much cheaper their accommodation was. Would not recommend.
