Hostel Suites Florida

The hostel very centrally located so it was easy to access most places via bus, subte or on foot. The area of florida felt very safe to walk around in the day and evenings. The hostel staff were friendly, helpful and spoke a number of language so they could communicate with all the guests. They also had good knowledge of Buenos areas and recommended places to go and best ways to get there as well as general advise about the different areas. Most of the guests staying in the hostel were very easy going and it was very easy to make friends with others, people helped each out with different languages - i ended up being adopted by my room mates all from brazil (who met each other at the hostel) we all hung out together and had all sorts of fun and adventures during the week. we have since shared photos and sent emails. A general note for first time travellers one thing i observed was not very many people staying in the hostel had english as a first language (portuguese most widely spoken) and around Buenos Airies not much english is used, this should not put anyone off as it is nothing a few spanish lessons in advance of a trip cant solve and there is no shame in using a phrase book in public.
