Beautiful setting, miles from anywhere!

We loved it but were surprised at how far it was from the airport down a nearly non existent road by the end. Also it was empty! Huge hotel with only 5 rooms being occupied since August is their off season. Apparently there is a hotel fairly near this one where you can walk out into the forest and see orangutans - maybe STA could recommend this one?

Our favourite beach side hotel! The beach is long and sandy and amazing sunsets. The pool is adequate size and has nice beach bar. They were in process of building a swin up bar but not sure when it's due to open. The restaurant food is great. The chef would happily cook anything you ask for and very reasonable prices. The rooms have a fridge so I would maybe stock up on drinks before you arrive as these are a little pricey. Staff great, the reception is comfy and a welcome place to chill out and there is also the 'fun pub'! Had great laugh singing kareoke with the locals. Would go back again and again.
