I'm STA but thought I'd give you my review anyway as it's a positive one!
Location is fantastic. Right in the middle of the city centre - about 15mins walk from the Palace Real, Plaza Mayor and "going out" on one side and the museums and Retiro park on the other. Breakfast has good choice of hot and cold options. Staff speak good English and are polite (although friendliness is in short supply throughout the city!).
Main negative is that it can be a bit noisy at night in the rooms at the front of the hotel as it's on a main street. Room decor is a little tired in places but more than adequate as long as it's not sold as a luxury option. Price was favourable compared to other hotels I looked at for the city and inclusion of breakfast is a bonus as many hotels don't offer this in rate.
