Perfect Hostel in Fab Location!

The best thing about this place is probably the location. Located next to the Republique square and on top of the Temple metro, it is fab for getting to every part of Paris. It was easy to find from the airport (although we got lost at Gare du Nord Every home comfort imaginable, though it really could do with some double glazing, the bathroom window did not lock and was pretty embarrasing when using the toilet and the window would spring open to the world! Also such a great location has the drwback of traffic, there is traffic all night! My friends agree though, that the number selling point has to be the view, we were on the top floor and we had the Eiffel tower in all her glory lit up at night with the beam, amazing! Great place at a great price and it is highly recommended!

The best thing about the stay were being so close to all of the main attractions in Paris with only a short metro ride.

Walking around Paris and biking around Paris. Unfortunately the hotel was not very nice at all. For the price it was very poor. I am used to staying in budget accommodation whilst backpacking around south america and various other destinations but I have never stayed in a place which looks so uncared for. The skirting boards were hanging off, the carpets were worn down to the floorboards, the room smelt of a sewerage system, there were no pillows but instead a makeshift attempt out of some sort of stuffing and a sheet, the breakfast was the same every day - 1 croissant and 1 bread roll with coffee served in a plastic cup if you arrived after 7.30am. The location was good but the Paris underground ensures that most areas are good locations so this wouldn't really be an adequate selling point based upon the poor standard of hotel/ hostel. Maybe the hostel rooms were better and if this is the case they should remain a hostel and redecorate the communal areas. It really was poor. I'm never one to complain but I do feel I need to in this scenario as feel it is unfair for them to charge such prices for what they offer.

Room was nice and clean. However occasional trouble with the room locks not working and the bathroom floor flooded each time someone had a shower. However I would stay there again and the other guests seemed friendly and outgoing.
