Orbit Hostel
The Orbit Hostel has a funky, retro feel to it. The restaurant, lounge and television area are all brightly decorated and spacious. All rooms have private facilities, phone, TV and air-con plus there’s internet access and a garden/terrace where you can sit back and relax.

It's a good location for holloywood and the hostel has lots of activities on offer. The only problem was that my room was on the group floor with a big glass door that wouldn't lock ... anyone could have got in, at any time ... this is LA afterall

Great location, they give you a map on your arrival to help you find your way around and for the best places to go.

Bed linen was provided as well as towel. Breakfast was also included in the price.
Location wasn't good and was too far out for where i needed to actually be.

Loved the B&W photocopies of stars e.g. Britney Spears in the reception, claiming to have enjoyed their stay; Made for an amusing entrance after a long flight. Needs refurbishing, signs are falling off and lock didn't work on the balcony door!

Not outstanding but everything you need. Also serves a basic breakfast despite my booking saying room only, which was a nice surprise.

Not Great, staff seemed inconvenienced by our simple requests - they wouldn't even keep a valuables bag for a few hours in the office. They put 7 people in a room for 6, and then blamed it on one lad in the room (at midnight). Internet was expensive and absolutely garbage. Location was in the middle of most things but near nowhere, the public transport is fantastic and so cheap so you don't need a central location - you couldn't have walked to Hollwood, Beverly Hills, Venice Beach, Santa Monica etc. Not Impressed, we walked down to Banana Bungalow one night which seemed much better, although the location was still poor.
