4 days

Check out this awesome three-night introduction to the exotic and historic city of Hanoi. Spend your first evening on a 'back alley' tour in the winding maze of the Old Quarter, the 'heart of Hanoi', finishing up in a traditional 'bia hoi' with the option of sampling freshly brewed beer. On your second day go on a full day tour of Hanoi to see what this city has to offer. Sit in a typical café sipping Vietnamese coffee and get some basic language lessons. Visit Ho Chi Minh's place of rest, the Temple of Literature, and the landing site of a partially submerged B52 bomber in a local lake. On your last day enjoy a trip to the peaceful Hoa Lu. Visit some of the sanctuaries and tombs that have survived since 1009 AD, and enjoy a three-hour boat trip up the Boi River.
