  • Highlights:

After the pick up from Queenstown to Manapouri, the journey to Doubtful Sound begins with a cruise across Lake Manapouri. After arriving at West Arm, passengers then travel over the Wilmot Pass by coach through dense rainforest. Then, at Deep Cove, passengers board the Fiordland Navigator overnight cruise vessel for the jaw dropping scenery and nature of Doubtful Sound. The Fiordland Navigator vessel has spacious decks for viewing the wilderness scenery. You'll also be able to see the wildlife including seals, dolphins, and, when in the right season, rare penguins. The vessel stops overnight in one of Doubtful Sound's hidden 'arms' and passengers can go kayaking around the shorelines or go exploring the nature on tender craft excursions. During the overnight stop an evening buffet meal is served in the spacious dining saloon. There is also a fully licensed bar selling beers, wines and spirits. Soothe yourself into the night amid the overwhelming presence of nature you find yourself engulfed by. The following morning a big breakfast is served, and there will still be time to explore the immediate area once again before heading back to Deep Cove and then retracing your steps back to Manapouri, and then on to Queenstown.
