Day 1:
Rise and shine early in time for your courtesy shuttle bus pick up from your Noosa accommodation and transfer to the departure point for a brief and cheerful tour induction. You'll then be sorted out for canoe and camping gear before boarding the Noosa Everglades Discovery boat. Enjoy a 45 minute river cruise through the magnificent lakes and wetlands of the Noosa River to the gate of the Noosa Everglades where the adventure finally begins! Pack your canoe and set off on your self-guided safari. Paddle upstream through ancient landscapes, sub-tropical rainforest offering countless Kodak moments of an amazing variety of wildlife - all from the comfort of your own canoe! Arrive at the historic logger's camp, Harry's Hut, to set up camp for the night. Rustle up some tasty grub on the riverside and while away the evening star-gazing and looking forward to tomorrow's excitement!
Day 2:
After a scrumptious and hearty breakfast, navigate yourself - paddles in hand - to Camp Site 3 as indicated on your map. Follow the walking track up to the Cooloola Sand Patch. Enjoy the independence and challenge of bushwhacking your way through the wonderful wildlife of coastal Queensland! This walk is 12km round trip, so make sure you set off early in the morning and also leave the Sand Patch with plenty of time to do the return trek and paddle back to your camp site! The evening is again spent at your leisure, quietly patting yourself on the back to a day's job well done.
Day 3:
After an early breakfast, pack up tent and camping gear by 8am and set off on your return paddle back to the Kinaba Interpretive Centre. Arriving by 9:45am, meet the boat for your return Cruise back to Noosaville. Return to your Noosa accommodation with the courtesy tour shuttle bus
