Day 1 -Toronto - Montreal
We start towards Kingston, the orginal capital of upper Canada stopping in beautiful Prince Edward Country for lunch in this historic city. From here it is a short drive to Ganaoque, home where we do a boat cruise on the St Lawrence River. Then we hit the road and head to Montreal.
Day 2- Montreal
Today we have a free day in Montreal, City of Festivals and the largest French speaking city outside of Europe. Tonight we explore the cafes, bars, and restaurants. Travel with the guide to explore the city or head out on your own - your choice.
Day 3- Montreal - Tadoussac
We travel along a spectacular highway along the St Lawrence Seaway and stop at St. Anne de Beaupre Cathedral where thousands of pilgrims come to witness miracles. We arrive at Tadoussac around 1pm so you can experience some of the best whale watching in North America.
Day 4- Tadousac - Quebec City
We return back towards Quebec City today, the only walled city in North America. Tonight we can explore the cobblestone streets and the cafes of this wonderful town.
Day 5- Quebec City
Today is a free day to explore this romantic city.
Day 6- Quebec - Mont Tremblant
We leave and drive through the Laurentian Hills to Mont Tremblant arriving mid-day with time to do some canoeing, hiking, cycling or shopping.
Day 7- Mont Tremblant - Ottawa
We head towards Ottawa today - the capital city of Canada.
Day 8- Ottawa - Fort Coulonge
The bus leaves later so you can explore the city or join the group as we go to Victoria Island for an Aboriginal experience.
Day 9- Fort Coulonge
We take a short drive to the rafting departure point and spend the day on the river. If you decide to stay at the lodge you can swim, canoe or hike.
Day 10- Fort Coulonge - Algonquin Park Base Camp
It's a short drive to Algonquin Base Camp where we explore Algonquin Park - home to over 10,000 moose, 2,000 black bears, beavers and wolves. Tonight you will enjoy an outdoor barbeque around a campfire where you can listen for the wolves howling in the distance.
Day 11- Algonquin Park Base Camp
Today we spend another day exploring the wilderness region of Algonquin Park, hiking (easy), swimming, canoeing and more.
Day 12-Algonquin Park - Toronto
This morning we take a canoe ride to Moore's Falls. After lunch we start back passing through Algonquin Park so you have more wildlife viewing opportunities. We stop for a hike and swim at Ragged Falls. We continue to the Dorset Fire Tower for a spectacular view of the surrounding wilderness. We arrive around 6pm.
