A highlight in Oriental Asia: South Korea!

What do you think when you think ‘South Korea’? Unknown? Mysterious? You couldn’t be more wrong! South Korea is a cosmopolitan hidden gem tucked away in East Asia. Its super modern, home to Samsung, LG, Hyundai and one of the richest and fastest developing nations in the world. The food is delicious, nightlife is buzzing and the beaches are glorious basically the traveller’s dream destination. Sitting comfortably in between China and Japan it can be added into a little Asian adventure very easily. What’s more, it makes for a wicked stopover on the way down to Oz!

There’s actually more to South Korea than Gangnam style. Who’d have thought?

Grad Scheme vs. Gap Year: Why You Should Travel After Uni

If you’re graduating, it’s got to that stage in the year now where everyone is thinking about that looming reality on the horizon: Real Life. Lots of people are sneaking off to interview for big companies with acronym names, some are spending almost as much time on their grad scheme applications as their degrees and the question everyone seems to be asking at the moment, is the slightly terrifying, “So, what are your plans for next year?”

But I’m not ready to deal with all that yet. My most detailed current plan is to have no plan. So I’m going to make the case for gap year over grad scheme in your first year after your degree. No job? No problem…
