Bit of a trek but would stay again

The hostel has its own bar/club but only visited this once and it was before we headed out to another bar in town somewhere. Came back to the hostel early one night with the intention of going to the Wake Up bar/club but it was queued half way down the street so didn't bother. So I'm guessing it was a popular place. Although everyone in the queue looked like they were borderline underage... It's fairly easy to navigate your way from the hostel in to town but it can feel like a bit of a hike when you've walked in to town and back a few times a day.

The location was brilliant and within walking distance of most of the attractions in sydney. The staff were really friendly and helpfull. They also made it easy to meet people by doing tours around the city. The facility had lots of social areas to meet people aswell and was very clean and tidy.

The hostel offered free tours of the city which were a great way for single travellers to meet other travellers and make new friends. The hostel was clean. The Side bar offered good nights out and budget food. The staff were very friendly and there is a travel centre inside the hostel to get information on the best trips available in and around Sydney. The hostel also provided aid for those seeking work in Australia.

First day free tour saw all the main sites in Sydney with some amusing anecdotes. Good SU like bar Side Bar. Room was a little grotty clearly had not been hoovered in a long long time but toilets/showers good. Kitchen was also a little tiny for the feel of the place.

The staff were very helpful and friendly, there was a very good atmosphere and the sidebar was really good, although it is pricey in general!
