Perth, Pinnacles & Monkey Mia Start & finish Perth, 4 days
Other than not actually seeing any monkeys – gutting we know! – this is an outstanding way to spend four days. Head from Perth to Kalbarri stopping at the mysterious Pinnacles Desert on the way where you will be dwarfed by massive sand dunes. Then take a short drive to Nature’s Window and make the effort to descend the steep Z-Bend Gorge. Definitely try abseiling before heading to Shark Bay. Head down to the beach and spend some time getting to know the famous Monkey Mia dolphins – this is an awesome and unique experience and lends itself to some incredible photos so make sure you have that camera ready to rock. Complete your trip by hitting the Hutt River Province – there’s another stamp in the old passport if you want it – then check out the python breeding centre at the Greenough Wildlife Park before heading back to Perth.
