Sziget Festival


10 days 5-11 Aug

Now into it's 28th year, Sziget keeps on getting bigger and better, attracting 400,000 fans (half from outside Hungary) to an island in the middle of the DAnube.Past headliners have included Foo Fighters, Florence + The Machine, Ed Sheeran and Post Malone. Not just about music, it's full of trippy art installations, fizzy wine bars, geeky games tents and psychedelic chill- out gardens.

Tip: Go as part of a bigger trip starting in Berlin, then make your way through Prague's beer gardens and Vienna's cafes.


Mad Cool
Madrid's newest rock bash. After just four years on the festival circuit, Mad Cool has already managed to bag the big dogs. Foo Fighters, Green Day, The Who, Alt-J, Foals, The Cure, and The Chemical Brothers have all made an appearance. Who knows what 2020 has in store.
The biggest electronic music festival in the world, and it definitely looks the part! Even before the music starts the stage designs and firework displays will blow your mind. It's like the best adult playground in the world. A setting fit for EDM, house and techno royalty.
Primavera Sound
This pumping festival takes place every spring in the city of Barcelona and boasts the greatest underground beats worldwide. Alongside class music, expect art exhibitions, secret performances, record fairs and foodie wonders.

Ultra Festival

Split, Croatia

5 days 9-13 July

Ultra is a huge three day festival which takes place on Croatia's Dalmation coastline in Split. Showcasing some of the biggest names in EDM, house and techno, it is one of the key events in Europe's dance music calendar. Notorious DJs hit the stage while hypnotic light shows , explosive firework displays and ground-shaking bass add to the spectacle. The likes of David Guetta, Swedish House Mafia, Disclosure and Afrojack have all made an appearence. EDM -lovers from around the world come flocking in their thousands clad in their country's flags. This five-day bundle includes a three-day ticket to Ultra as well as four nights stay in a comfortable, centrally located hostel and an orientation walk of Split.


Reading & Leeds
Reading & Leeds used to be exclusively for rock-lovers but its rep has since changed, now also hosting a Radio 1 Xtra and Dance stage. Hot up-and-coming acts can also be discovered with BBc introducing. Find a cinema tent, silent discos and a comedy stage for extra kicks after all the music.
Isle of Wight
The launch party of the UK's major festival calendar! Forget the weather forecast (it's June and it's England) and welcome the summer with a field full of rock, pop, comedy and cabaret. Re-launched in 2002, they've since seen artists such as The Rolling Stones, Jay-z and Fleetwood Mac.
The grandaddy of electronic music. Insane visuals, explosive pyros and the biggest house and trance artists: this is one of the world's most renowned EDM festivals. Now in 18 countries, from Malta to Mexico, thislegendary festival started right here! And 2020 promises to be the biggest yet.

La Tomatina

From Barcelona.

Once a year the Valencian town of Bunol becomes a tomato bloodbath as thousands of people take part in the world's most famous food fight. Get picked up from Barcelona and travel to Valencia. Take a guided walk of the city before hurling tomatoes at like-minded revellers and dancing til dawn at the official La Tomatina after party.

Oktoberfest Hotel (from London)
Get your Lederhosen ready for two days of booze-fuelled merriment. Take an orientation walk before consuming your weight in beer, wurst and pork. Includes a trip to Dachau Concentration Camp, four nights' hotel accommodation and a coach from London.
Easter in Scotland
Spend three days in the great Scottish outdoors, soaking up the sights and scenery in the far north and west of this beautiful country. Visit Dunkeld's cathedral, party on the banks of the mysterious Loch Ness, explored the rugged Isle of Skye and take in the stunning landscape of Glencoe. Wash down all that nature with a distillery trip.
St Paddy's day
Experience St.Patrick's day on its home turf. Hit the pubs of Temple Bar, enjoy a walking tour and visit the Guinness Storehouse before soaking up the atmosphere in the Fair City. Includes a three- night hostel stay (mixed dorm) and a craic-ing Paddy's day party.
