You'll need to provide a clean driving license from your home country and drivers will usually need to be 21 years or more. Eligibility will change per country so check before booking.

Lake District to Patagonia

Bariloche > El Calafate


Nothing screams off the beaten track like renting a car, coordinating with a couple of friends and hitting the open road. Start off in Bariloche and gorge yourself silly on chocolate, steak and craft beer. Then, drive past beautiful lakes and forests on you way to Villa La Angostura. The beer brewery at El Bolsen is an excellent stop off, but be sure to watch your limits if you're the designated driver. Hop on a flight to El Calafate on Day 8 and pick up a new car for four days of adventures in El Calafate and El Chalten.

Self-drive The Yucatan

Circular route from Cancun


Go out and explore Mexico's sceneic Yucatan Penisula, home to Mayan ruins, gorgeous colonial towns and beautoful beaches. From Cancun, travel to Tulum where you can visit the temples on the Caribbean Sea. The next day, continue to colonial Merida and visit the cathedral, Palacio Municipal and Casa de Montejo. The village of Celestun has some resident flamingos before you immerse yourself in the history of Uxmal. See the Mayan architectural style of Puuc in Sayil and Labna before finishing with the world-famous Chichen Itza.
