Travel insurance frequently asked questions

Should I declare my pre-existing medical conditions on my Single Trip Travel Insurance?

You must declare any pre-existing medical conditions you would like to be covered for on your policy. We consider cover for all conditions on our standard, premier and premier plus policies. Once you have purchased your policy you will need to call the confidential STA medical screening helpline on 020 8603 9573 to discuss whether your condition can be covered and if there is any additional premium to pay.

If you would prefer not to pay for additional cover you can either choose to travel on your policy without cover for the pre-existing condition you have declared or you can cancel your policy within the 14 day cooling off period without penalty.
